Arthritis Care is now the UK’s largest voluntary organisation working with and for all people with arthritis from every section of the community. We know that the people who best understand living with arthritis are people with arthritis themselves. Talking to other people with the disease can help – sharing ideas, practising self-help, having fun. Arthritis Care depends on volunteers, who organise social activities, transport, events for local branches, visit people with arthritis in their home and in hospital, act as telephone contacts, help run the arthritis self-management programme, and promote Arthritis Care.
